Steam Carpet Cleaning in San Bernardino, CA

Does steam cleaning actually pull the grit out?
Mostly, yes, but not by itself. Hot water extraction is a rinse and a recovery. Decomposed granite tracked into entry and hall lanes is dry and abrasive. It sits down at the base of cut-pile nylon. If it is not dry-vacuumed out first, the wand turns it to mud. Slow, overlapping dry passes do more here than hotter water.
Rinse quality is the other half. Inland Empire tap water is mineral heavy. A weak rinse leaves detergent and hardness behind, and the carpet dries stiff and grays again within weeks. That resoiling is usually a rinse problem, not a soil problem. Kitchen-adjacent carpet with oily soil needs more dwell time, not more water.
Everything here is slab-on-grade, so urine is a different job. It passes through the backing and into the pad and concrete. Surface steam cleaning only addresses what you can smell on top. Subsurface extraction and enzyme treatment are what reach the slab, common in rental turnovers.
Drying is easy in this climate. Low humidity and warm air do most of it. Older wool in midcentury Redlands and Loma Linda homes gets lower heat and controlled pH. Sun-faded fiber on west exposures cleans, but faded color does not come back.

What happens after you call us
Call and tell us the rooms, the stains, and whether you have a move-out date. We give you a two-hour arrival window, not a whole afternoon.
We walk the carpet with you first, check the traffic lanes and the fine foothill grit ground into the pile, then quote a firm price before the hose comes off the truck.
We clean, rinse, groom the pile, test the spots that matter to you, and haul our hoses out. You pay the quoted number, and most carpet here dries in four to six hours with the air moving.
